Hey there!
I am super excited to announce that on March 23, we reached 20 followers on my email list! π Thanks to Liberty from Gone in a Dream for being follower number 20! To celebrate this momentous event, I am interviewing Cassidy from The Amber Illusion!
I talk in bold. π
Hey Cassidy! Thank you for agreeing to do this interview with me!
Thanks for asking!
First off, I have to ask: where did you get the super amazing name for your blog? π
Well a good friend helped me figure it out. She found it on a random nickname generator and gave me the idea to use it as my blog name!
That is so cool! What a great friend. Of all the things you’ve posted on your blog so far, which post do you think is your favorite?
My favourite post so far with have to be our collab together. It was so fun.
That one was a blast! Your WIP sounds super cool. Speaking of your WIP, are you planning on getting a temporary cover for it? If so, will you make it yourself, or ask someone else to make it?
I was thinking about that and I think I will get a temporary cover. I’ll most likely draw it myself, but when I need to final one I will get one from a company.
Cool! I would totally recommend End2End Books, who made my own cover. π
I will definitely check them out! I trust your opinion on that. π
Thank you! You mention that you’re probably going to make a temporary cover by yourself; does that mean you are a good artist?
Well I think I am a decent artist. I have been drawing for over a year now, and I just got into digital recently.
Awesome! I personally can’t draw very well, but am working on changing that. Are you currently scheming any big projects, besides your WIP?
I do have a few plans in mind, but the book is currently my largest project going on.
Relatable. π I wish you the best of luck with all of them!
Thanks. Good luck with yours too!
Thank you! If you could give one tip (on any subject) to everyone here, what would it be?
My advice is that you should always look for inspiration. If you are stuck somewhere in a story that you’re writing, take a break, go for a walk. It helps me to find out what to do next!
Awesome! Thank you so, so, so much for doing this interview with me! It was fun! Good luck with your own blog!
Thanks so much for having me! I enjoyed it as well. Good luck to you too!
Woohoo! Let’s give it up for Cassidy! π Make sure you click HERE and check out her blog!
Camp NaNoWriMo?? Already?
On this Sunday three things happen:
- It’s Easter.
- It’s April Fools Day.
- Camp NaNoWriMo begins!
For lots of writers out there, I hear that means freaking out and scrambling to put together a plot for a new project. But personally, I am going take this opportunity and use it to try and fuel me for getting a lot of writing done for The Triad of Caosdif! Until I read Maddi’s post today, I had been planning on trying to reach 100k words. But now, I think I’m going to aim for 100 pages of good quality writing. The great thing about Camp NaNoWriMo is that it’s fully customizable, so instead of the 50k that NaNoWriMo is. π I can’t wait for it to begin! Until then, I guess I’ll keep writing anyway. π
Did you like this interview?
Are you doing Camp NaNoWriMo?

That’s a cool take on Camp! I like the focus on quality, not quantity – it’s different to the usual NaNo goals, but a good idea! I’m changing things up this time, too – instead of words, I’m doing hours… on assessments/study. Hopefully it’ll make me more productive. xD
And The Amber Illusion is a lovely blog name! π

Yeah! I’m going to be writing around 30 pages to reach page 100 in April, so I feel like this is much more achievable and will be much better quality. Haha! Good luck with that!
I know, right? (Hehe, here’s a secret: I did the nickname thing. π The full name was The Strange Amber Illusion Lunatic.)
