Hey there!
Wow! What a month! I can hardly believe that it’s over!
But before we hop into the monthly overview, I have something to quickly talk about:
Alpha Readers: Apologie
I discovered something pretty embarrassing last Monday.
My contact form wasn’t working. π³
I apologise to everyone who tried to contact me through it. I managed to fix it, so if you had emailed me about becoming an Alpha Reader, it didn’t come through, but if you try to now, it will.

Total Number of Followers:
Because I like seeing this section and am still counting my WordPress.com followers. (But how about this: I’ll remove it after my MailChimp list exceeds the WordPress one. π) This month’s total is 76 followers!
Most Popular Post of February:
With 14 comments, this month’s moth popular post is How to Keep your Novel Interesting with Dialogue: Explanation. And can we just take a moment to appreciate that every comment was a genuine one instead of spam?? And that a blogger I really like actually commented on it and so I pretty much squealed over that?
Most Popular Post of All:
No contest: it’s 20 comments on My Honest Review of End2End Books! Although most of them were actually self-promo and had weird numbers at the beginning and end. Because this is my blog, I reserve the right to remove stuff like that! I didn’t allow some of the comments to even appear, and I took out all numbers. But please, just don’t do that. Thank you!
Total Number of Comments:
This month there was a total of 44 new comments. Thanks, guys! π
Milestone of the Month:
So many choices! Let’s choose a couple of things and talk about how awesome I am:
- I made a course for you guys!
- I helped my younger sister figure out character motives and fill in some plot holes for her book!
- I am working on a Secret Projectβ’!
Writing Overview
Planning:
I plotted a new story idea! Hopefully this one will work (unlike Once Upon a Goose… *wince*)
Writing:
I rewrote a bit more of The Triad of Caosdif!
Behind the Scenes
I am reading…
- I reread The Land of Stories series
- First Sisters of the Sword book
- A Rapunzel spin-off called Grounded
- A book my friend recommended called Entwined
- Aretemis Fowl (the first book)
I am drawing…
I found a short tutorial on Pinterest (that was all pictures) on how to draw a realistic eye. So now I know how to do that.
Though I’m not sure if it’s the right or left eye? π
I am coloring…
Nothing this month.
Goals for this Coming Month
Blog Goals:
WordPress.com:
Honestly? After this month, I think I’ll eliminate this section. I’m no longer working on this blog.
WordPress.org:
I’ll try to keep growing my email list and work on my Secret Project.
Writing Goals:
Definitely didn’t reach last month’s goal. π But I hope to keep working on rewriting my book The Triad of Caosdif, and to start writing my new book!
Social Media Goals:
I’m going to try and go through my released boards and put them in sections, and then make my way through them and visit each site they lead to. (Which will take forever) I want to make sure I only am pinning great content. π
Working with Other Bloggers Goals:
I would love to do some collabs with other bloggers, but for now, must finish my Dialogue Series, and do a couple tags. π But after that, I would love to!! (If you want to do a collab with me, just email me through my contact page!) (Which is now working!)
Google Analytics!
Okay, so you know how I lamented last month about how I can’t see any stats on my new blog?
I managed to set up Google Analytics! I am back in business! YAY!
It actually is really cool. Here, take a look at the thing on my audience. (Photos were taken on February 18)
I can compare each day-to-day amount of visitors on a chart!
I can see how many users there were, how many sessions, how many pages they looked at, who ‘bounced’ (left) and if they were returning visitors or new ones! (that’s the pie graph; green for returning, blue for new!)
And something that makes me evil laugh.
I can see the language they have set up, the country they’re from, the city, what browser they use (Safari, Chrome, etc.) what operating system (Windows, Macintosh, IOS, Android, etc.) their service provider, (Bell, Telus, Shaw, etc.) the operating system (which I actually am not even truly sure is) service provider (also not sure? π) and – this is cool – their screen resolution. It’s so awesome and creepy at the same time! I love it!
So next month, you guys will get to hear about visitor number and views and stuff again. π
Here’s to a great month!
How was your month? π
Julia
Wow! This is such an interesting way to post things! I was thinking of doing one at the end of March, since that would be the end of my first official month properly blogging!
I’m really enjoying the posts on your blog π

Thanks! I mostly do it to help me keep track of my own stats, actually, and so that I’ll be able to compare how much I’ve grown in the future. π One month at the end of March? I’ll keep an eye out for it! π
Thank you!
