This one is going to be a little bit different. For the blog overview, I’ve decided to keep talking about Julia’s Creative Corner that’s through WordPress.com as well as through WordPress.org. Each has things the others don’t (like I can’t see any stats for the new one, besides followers, and I still love talking about those) so it should be interesting! 😃

January 23 had 29 visitors! 😃

This month, my blog had 176 visitors in total! 😄 44 more than last month!

This month has a total of 125 likes! 41 more than last month!

Total Number of Comments:

This month has a total of 118 comments! 16 more than last month!

Total Number of Views:

I had 617 views this month! 94 more than last month!

I’ve reached 20 followers through MailChimp! (Which is the new way of notifying you guys on my new blog; follow it! 😄)

I’ve reached 75 followers! 😱 (Okay, so yes, maybe I am counting my other blog for total followers… :P)

Total Number of Comments:

I actually received a bunch of comments on this new blog. There’s a total of 43! Some of them are actually from people I haven’t ever seen before, so that’s kind of cool.

BUT.

There have been weird ones as well; they have numbers at the beginning and end, and some of them are just self-promo.

If you ever post a comment like that, I edit them. Yes, I do! It’s my blog, not a place for you to promote yours. Or youtube channel. The only way to do that is by giving real comments. So, I take out the numbers, I take out the links, but I leave any nice stuff you say. But if you wouldn’t do it in the first place, that would be pretty great. So please, don’t leave any comments like that!

Writing Overview

Planning:

I planned my new novel, Once Upon a Goose.

Also, for the past week or so, I’ve been playing around with a plot bunny in my head. It’s actually a really good one. But then, last night, I was trying to figure out what to do with one character (because I’d have to get rid of them somehow) and the plot bunny suggested, “Why don’t we just throw him off a cliff?”

Very logical, plot bunny; but I think we’ll have to find other means. 😂

Writing:

I’ve been writing the novel, after changing the name to Once Upon a Goose. I’ve finished 2 chapters, and am in the middle of the 3rd.

Behind the Scenes

I am reading…

This month, I read the new book in the Brotherband series. I found that book 7 wasn’t as good as the rest of the books that Flanagan has written, but hey, the cover is amazing! 😜 I also read the book Charmed, which comes after the book Flunked. Like father, like son, I guess; the second one had random things happening in it like the first, that was supposed to be dramatic? (It wasn’t)

I also read the MasterMinds trilogy. I NEED TO BUY THIS. IT WAS AMAZING! After finishing the second book, I literally dashed to my computer to put on hold book 3. And at the time, I was 6 weeks away from being allowed to run around, sooooo that’s saying something.

I also read the first and second books in the Candy Shop War series. (Which are the only ones out so far) Also really good!

I am drawing…

I did try drawing again. HA. HA. HA. I possess no talent whatsoever. Really great for the girl who wants to become a storyboarder with Disney someday.

Okay, well, maybe I did do one drawing yesterday… of an eye… while following steps I found from this thing on Pinterest… and it doesn’t look half-bad. (Although my sister Mary says that it looks really good 😆) I’ll have to show you guys a picture sometime, and ask you for your opinion.

I am coloring…

I got to (finally!) color another page in my coloring book! 😄 ~~Or um, you know, some of it. I had to put it away, and may or may not have taken it out since? 😂~~

Goals for this Coming Month

Blog Goals:

WordPress.com:

I’ve gotten to 55 followers; maybe I can reach 60??

WordPress.org:

I want to just grow my reach for the blog in general, and get more email subscribers. (If you could, it would be great if you shared a link to my blog with friends or something 😃)

Writing Goals:

Write a bunch more of Once Upon a Goose! (Maybe finish it, if I can.)

Social Media Goals:

I actually have reached 109 followers on Pinterest! I’m going to keep working on releasing new boards and maybe reach 115 followers!

Working with Other Bloggers Goals:

I actually have an interview coming to celebrate 50+ followers… but it’s not with a blogger, so I’m not entirely sure if I should be putting this in this section? 😂

And so we begin February!
